What did you learn and enjoy during your experience?
I learned that the people in Africa have less than us monetarily but can be satisfied nonetheless. I enjoyed the culture and experience of the African way of life. I was heartbroken but was excited to be able to visit the orphanages and the Aids clinic and to be able to show some love to those that so desperately need it. I went to change lives and came home…changed.
Why would you recommend the Charity Leave Program?
The Charity Leave Program gives you the opportunity and the financial support to do something for someone else. I would suggest to anyone that wants to help others in some way to take advantage of the time and financial support that has been made available because opportunities come and go…and this is one you don't want to miss-out on.
